After disputing the claim against me, YouTube re-enabled the audio track for my thank you video to all those who attended my 24th birthday party. I ended up citing a copyright act from 1976 claiming fair use and all was good.

Honestly though, I wouldn’t mind YouTube adding an advertisement on my video to purchase either the song or cd because:

  1. I loved the song enough to buy it
  2. I think others would buy it too if given an easy opportunity
